It’s officially summer! What better way to cool off on a hot summer night than with some live music. Grab your friends and enjoy an evening out at one of these FREE summer concerts in Waterloo.
Don’t miss downtown Waterloo’s “T.G.I.F. Party” on Friday evenings at Lincoln Park. Friday’Loo concerts showcase talent from an eclectic line-up of local, regional and touring performing artists. The party starts at 5:30pm and goes until 9:30pm. While you’re there, you can enjoy some local eats and treats from one of the various food trucks on site. And, consider riding your bikes to Friday'Loo and park them at the Cedar Valley Bicycle Collective's bike valet (secure parking).

Isle Summer Concert Series
Rock out to some of your favorite hits from the 80’s at the Isle’s Summer Concert Series. Concerts are held outdoors at the Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo, so don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs. Gates open at 7:30pm and the show begins at 8pm.

Enjoy fun for the whole family at RiverLoop Rhythms. Relax and unwind to the beats of some of the area’s best, all while overlooking the scenic Cedar River in downtown Waterloo. These concerts take place from 5:30-9:30pm at the beautiful RiverLoop Amphitheatre. Plus, the kiddos will have a blast splashing around next door at Mark’s Park – a splash pad and playground. Bike valet service is also available at RiverLoop Rhythms.

Street Thunder Bike Nights
Kick the weekend off early every Thursday at Street Thunder Bike Night. Join Screaming Eagle for a party on the street with live bands, cold beer, and good friends. Grill Master Spivey will be on the street cookin' up some delicious BBQ. The party starts at 6pm and the band starts at 7pm. Visit their website for a complete schedule of upcoming bands.
Waterloo Municipal Band Concerts
Come celebrate 90 years of entertainment. The Waterloo Municipal Band, under the direction of Bill Shepherd, is "Celebrating 90 Years" this summer at the RiverLoop Amphitheatre in downtown Waterloo. Their 2016 season includes a series of free concerts held every Thursday evening at 7:30pm during June and July.
Cedar Falls also has a variety of live music events taking place throughout the summer, including Live to 9, Municipal Band Concerts, and the Cedar Valley Acoustic Guitar Association at Movies Under the Moon.
