That is why we’re excited to announce the rebranding of the Waterloo Convention & Visitors Bureau to Experience Waterloo.

Experience Waterloo is proud to serve as our city’s destination marketing organization. Simply put, we want visitors to experience Waterloo and all that makes it a unique Iowa destination.

Our renewed mission is "to enhance and promote the Waterloo experience". The shift in organizational name represents a focus and approach, representing the vibrancy, diversity and flair that makes Waterloo worth celebrating with residents and visitors alike.

We invite you to strike up a great conversation with a local, have a fantastic meal at one of our 70+ locally-owned restaurants, explore over 100 miles of recreation trails, learn about the history of the world-changing John Deere tractor at the John Deere Tractor & Engine Museum, honor the service of so many Iowans at the Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum, or celebrate the accomplishments of wrestling icon Dan Gable at the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum.
